Hello Everyone!
After a week after getting back from
Animazement 2009 and being sick with a cold|cough (we all are calling in the Con Sickness!) I'm feeling a little bit better to finally put up my full report about the convention, panels, photoshoot etc!
Day 1- Thursday May 21st, 2009After being behind schedule about 3 hours with getting the rent car- Myself, Kuro13tenshi(Angel) and her mother are one the road for about 9 hours from Ohio to North Carolina. While we were on the road Kuro13tenshi(Angel) took some pictures with my camera of the scenery-
It was very good day to drive, but a very long one! We didn't arrive to the convention center|Marriott Covention Center until 8:00pm and was thinking after we check in (which would be a easy process...) at the hotel we can just walk over and get our badges and enjoy the pre-con. Well that didn't happen... in all my years of going to conventions and staying at hotels I thought we pay as we check out... but since the way things are at with the world these days no. So we had about an half hour of figuring out how to pay for both of the room, which was solved, but missed out getting our badges and checking in to the artist alley and going to the pre-con (maybe next year), so we decided we just to wake up early in the morning on Friday and do that.
We had 2 rooms- My room- Myself, Kuro13tenshi(Angel), her mother, Sakky-chan, Amanda and
Siobhan were staying in and the 2nd room was Priscilla, Linda(Urd-chan) and her daugther- Fawn.
Day 2- Friday May 22nd, 2009Ready day 1 of Animazement! Wake up and went over to the convention center around 9:00am to get our badges (yea for pre-reg!) and then we had about an hour before we can check-in to the artist alley which Kuro13tenshi(Angel) and myself took the time to get our art gear from the car and took it up to the Ballroom level aka BR (Battle Royale ^_^) . After checking in we had about 2 hours to set up before the artist alley opened at 12:00pm (Which it took us a little longer... specially trying to figure out how to put up my new banner >.<) we stayed in the artist alley the whole day until my first panel.
Here are some pictures that I took on Friday-
Tux! He was an awesome Tuxedo Mask because he gave out roses to everyone that took pictures of him. That explains why throughout some of my pictures of myself with a rose in my hair. The rose came from him ^_^

You don't see that many DBZ cosplayers no days and I thought this Vegeta was awesome! So I had to take of picture of him! ^_^ (aka the cosplayer is a girl! ^_^)
OO my it gets better! Goku and Vegeta together with out fighter wow!
Hehehe I get to meet the voice behind Teen Gohan of the dub DBZ Kyle Hebert! Kyle will also be a guest at
Matsuricon in August too! Wee I get to see more of him! Kyle was so awesome to talk to!

Wow A Count D from Pet Shop of Horrors cosplayer and he is a guy! Very rare! Now we need more Pet Shop of Horrors cosplayers! ^_^ Neko Athena you should be very happy that I'd took a picture of him! hehe ^_^
Aww Rainbow Brite! Yea I love her! It brings back the old days- the 80's!
I love Death Note, and Ryuk is my favorite character not only have I've been the Japanese Version (which I love the best), but I've seen a few of the dub (which was ok) and oo my Brian Drummond does his voice... falls over.....

OO Right before heading to the panel Sakky-chan found this great dealer in the Dealer's Room that was selling Sailor Moon items. I was like WHAT, NO WAY... they have Sailor Moon items. So we headed down to the Dealer's Room which was in the basement. As soon as I get to the table looking what I found about bought! ^_^
Now I'm almost complete with all my Sailor Moon Dolls, just need Tuxedo Mask now (Updated! I won Tuxedo Mask ^_^)
Around 6:15-6:30ish pm I headed over with Sakky-chan and meet up with Tommy (kungpow) for our panel- Naoko Takeuchi Fan Panel which began at 6:45pm and ran to 7:45pm.
There was a fairly good turn out for this panel. Which I have to say I'm happy! There are areas that I need to work on... I can't believe that I forgot to include myself at the beginning of the panel- opps. Tommy (kungpow) has put up video footage here-

After the panel I went back to the artist alley to sell more art then once the artist alley closed at 10:00pm ^_^ we all got dinner then head to bed around 12:00am.
Day 3- Saturday May 23rd, 2009A pretty busy day I have to say! Specially when you are going to be in costume ALL DAY LONG! The day starts out with all of us getting in to costume to head for the Sailor Moon Photoshoot at 11:00am to about 11:30am in the Lobby.

After the photoshoot a group of us cosplayers were heading back up to the Ballroom-
We had about 2 hours before our Sailor Moon Universe Fan Panel (2:00pm -3:00pm) so Kuro13tenshi(Angel) and I hanged out in the artist alley. Also this time
Xileohp was there to sell some of her cute little dolls etc. Since she was sharing some of my table I was able to get on of my 3 commission dolls from her for free ^_^.

About 1:30pm we all headed over the panel where Tommy (kungpow) was already setting up his laptop. I ended up forgetting the prizes and had to walk back to the car to get them and walk back to the panel room... fun fun. Panel started about a few seconds later after 2:00pm.

These are framed fan art that has been donated by deviantART artists around the work! Yea! Thanks to all that donated their artwork. We couldn't have done it with out you. And big thanks for Gina Biggs our first donated artist for being there at the panel. She also won one of the framed artwork (don't know which one...) ^_^ We also had a lovely Jupiter Keychain, 2 Wallscrolls and a collection of Fan Art Buttons from Kuro13tenshi(Angel) that we handed out after all the framed artwork! Thanks again!
There was a very good turn out for this panel. Which I have to say I'm happy! We've packed the room with people standing in the back! Sweetness! Tommy (kungpow)

Wow after a great panel... it was back to the artist alley to sell more before they closed the artist alley for the night.
Later after the artist alley closed a group of us meet in the Lobby and headed out side for the Sailor Moon Night Photoshoot wee... fun fun!
On the way we ran in to Caitlin Glass(ADR director and Voice Actress for FUNimation) and Kyle Hebert (Voice Actor of Teen Gohan in the Dub of DBZ) who were all wanting to get a photo with us... more Caitlin since she is a hugh fan of Sailor Moon is the one behind the FUNimation's poll of Re-Dubbing Series. She would love to work on Re-Dubbing Sailor Moon, prefferably- Stars Season 5. Here is all us moonies showing our love for Sailor Moon!
Also one of Kuro13tenshi(Angel)'s was there singing a song with Caitlin Glass(ADR director and Voice Actress for FUNimation) which was awesome!
Now onto the lovely Night Photos! Yea!
I have to say after being at a Night Photoshoot for the first time! I loved it... they are some much fun. I can't wait to do another one in the near future! On the way back we had a chance to take a quick picture of the other side of the convention center at nite time!
Day 4- Sunday May 24th, 2009Last day of Animazement p.p so sad, but I have to say I loved this convention! I'd spent most of the time in the artist alley and took some awesome photos before leaving to head home for another 9 hour drive! OO my!

After saying our goodbyes to everyone and packing up we were on the road. Here are some lovely cool shoots of the night time road that Kuro13tenshi(Angel) took.
We got into Ohio around sometime between 2:00am - 3:00am because I made it to my house sometime a little after 3:10am - 3:30am then Kuro13tenshi(Angel) and her mother re-pack their things in their car and headed straight home getting to their house about 2 hours later.
Wow what a trip! Anyways I have to say I'd had fun and looking forward for next year. Maybe next year
Keiko Han (Japanese Voice of Luna) and Yasuo Yamaguchi (Japanese Producer of the anime series of Sailor Moon) will be back. That darn Swine Fuu can't keep them away forever!
As for updates for BSSMLA-
I'm planning to make a move for BSSMLA from my domain tsukiyama-sama.net where it has been for the pass 5 years to my brand new domain- bssm.nu which the process will be coming in the matter months. But in meantime I do not plan of updating BSSMLA until it has been moved over. So most of the new new updates will be posted once its moved over.
